First Visit Expectations

Below is an overview of what you can expect during your first visit to Underwood Orthodontics.

Let’s get to know each other…

During your first visit, a comprehensive oral exam and photos will be performed. If necessary X-rays and digital impressions will be taken. Dr. Underwood will discuss with the patient and parents his treatment plan and options available.

Sometimes a patient is not ready to start treatment immediately. In this case, Dr. Underwood will place the patient on a recall system and monitor these patients every six months. He will continue to track the patient’s progression of growth and development at no cost until the patient is ready to begin treatment.
